Welcome!
On behalf of the men and women of the Seal Beach Police Department, I would like to welcome you to our Annual Seal Beach Police Association Polar Plunge website.

Please join us on  Saturday, February 9th, 2008 at 10 a.m. on the beach just west of the pier. The event should last less than an hour so come down, have a cup of coffee, jump in the water and enjoy a late breakfast on Main Street. A brave group of men, women and children will forego the estimated 60 degree temperature and make the Plunge into the chilly Pacific. The beauty of this event is that requires no skill. Unlike other competitive events, all you need to do is jump in the water. Jump in to your ankles or until the water is over your head; it’s your choice so enjoy yourself!

The goals are simple:

Create a fun event for the entire family
Raise money for Special Olympics Southern California
Enjoy the day in beautiful Seal Beach
Start Collecting Polar Plunge Gear
Remember: No wetsuits allowed!
